goetzpartners extends its international presence
goetzpartners Paris is continuing its development with the arrival of Bernard Toupas, a new director who will be in charge of distribution activities and consumer goods
Paris, May 23, 2017 – The goetzpartners team has expanded greatly over the past eighteen months, and now the company is continuing its development with the arrival at its Paris office of Bernard Toupas in the capacity of director.
In particular, Toupas will be contributing more than fifteen years of experience in corporate finance as well as ten years of specialization in the distribution and consumer goods sectors. He was previously Director at Société Générale, where he carried out some twenty financial transactions: he has advised numerous clients such as Carrefour, Danone, Kering, Boulanger, Yoplait and even the Metro Group on multiple transactions. Prior to joining Société Générale, he worked successively at Andersen and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, then at Merrill Lynch. He is a graduate of HEC Paris.
Serge Prager, Managing Director of goetzpartners in France, said: "I'm very pleased with the arrival of Bernard Toupas, who will bring his transactional know-how to the Paris office. We will benefit from his expertise particularly in the distribution and consumer goods sectors. He will also be developing the activities of the entire goetzpartners Group, which is present in eleven countries, in these same sectors. Thus we now have a reinforced team, not only to cover the French market better but also to make a strong contribution to the Group's activities in several key sectors of the economy."
