goetzpartners advised the shareholders of El-Cab on the sale of their shares to Amphenol Corporation

goetzpartners was mandated as exclusive M&A advisor by the shareholders of Poland-based El-Cab Sp. z o.o. (“El-Cab” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer of high-quality wire harnesses and related products for a variety of the transportation (non-auto) and other attractive end-markets, on the sale of their shares to Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH), a leading global provider of high-technology interconnect, antenna and sensor solutions.

With more than 25 years of experience, El-Cab is a leading family-owned manufacturer of high-quality wire harnesses and related interconnect products, primarily serving the industrial market and with annual sales of approximately $55 million. The Company has an excellent position in cable assemblies for industrial applications, and in particular, next-generation electric-powered industrial vehicles. The acquisition of El-Cab constitutes Amphenol’s first direct investment in the attractive Polish market and enables Amphenol to further strengthen its position in the European vehicle electrification and connectivity market.

The transaction was goetzpartners’ second mandate for the Olszewski family following the successful sale of Poland-based Solaris Bus & Coach S.A., a leading European manufacturer of innovative city and intercity buses, to Spain-based Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles, S.A. (“CAF”), a publicly-listed turnkey solutions provider for the railway industry, back in 2018.
