The Commercial Due Diligence included a comprehensive analysis of Pipersberg’s business model and product portfolio, especially taking into account its supplier portfolio and the sustainability of its offered technologies. The market environment was analysed with a particular focus on the impact of regulatory changes as well as the shift towards new meter technologies. In addition, the Company's competitive environment was thoroughly evaluated, highlighting Pipersberg's unique One-Stop-Shop positioning in the industry. Further, the Commercial Due Diligence provided a detailed Business Plan assessment and additional value creation opportunities. The re-investment of CEO Peter Fischer supports the favorable outlook and underlines EMZ’s investment approach of aligning its interest with the management team and to allow them to benefit from the company’s upside potential.
