goetzpartners advised Cherkizovo Group on its acquisition of LLC “Pit-Product”

goetzpartners successfully advised on the acquisition by Cherkizovo Group of 100% of shares in LLC “Pit-Product” with the current owner of the company – Atria Group (Finland). The preliminary agreement had been signed. “Pit-Product” owns two modern meat processing production facilities in Leningrad region (in Gorelovo and Sinyavino) which annual production capacity is 39 000 tons of sausages and meat deli. One of the facilities also encompasses a logistics center. Along with the production and logistics facilities, it will also include Pit Product brand and other intellectual property rights. Total headcount of LLC “Pit-Product” is 700 people.

Acquisition of “Pit-Product”, one of the most technologically advanced processing facilities in the North-West Federal District, will significantly reinforce Cherkizovo’s positions in such an important and big market.

The transaction will be completed after approval by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
