goetzpartners advised Booster Precision Components with a Commercial Vendor Due Diligence

goetzpartners advised BOOSTER Precision Components GmbH ("Booster"), a globally leading metal precision parts manufacturer, with a Commercial Vendor Due Diligence amid a financing project for the company.

The company's tangible expansion opportunities in various growing verticals, including e-mobility, fuel cell, industrial, and medical components, constituted a major theme throughout the project. Accordingly, our analyses covered Booster's industry-leading manufacturing capabilities, which are rooted in a state-of-the-art, highly flexible and automated machinery equipment setup. The company's manufacturing sites in Germany, Slovakia, China, and Mexico were examined with regards to individual setup, capabilities, as well as existing and potential customers.

Accordingly, the analysis of market size and growth covered the company's existing mobility end markets as well as the above-mentioned opportunities and Booster's right to win. Furthermore, we assessed the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to underline the company's resilient business model, including its undisputed ability to pass through raw material and energy price changes to its customers. A clear view on existing and developing customer relationships finally provided a reliable fact base for assessing Booster's business plan on top-line, cost, and capex level. In this context, a per-customer analysis of projects, RfQs, and initial sales of precision components for new application areas provided additional visibility on the company's diversification strategy.

The project complements our extensive track record in providing strategic and commercial advisory services in high-tech manufacturing and mobility sectors.
