Dr. Stephan Goetz, based in Munich, is the co-founder and Managing Partner of goetzpartners.
Dr. Goetz has served as an advisor for numerous transactions, including transactions in the energy, utilities, telecommunications and media industries in many countries around the world. He is a prominent advisor and business leader in Germany, his home country.
He began his professional career as a Junior Partner at the Munich-based law firm Stock, Strohm, Reinelt & Rahn. In 1990 he founded CEA Europe, the predecessor of goetzpartners, and succeeded in expanding its European office network while also serving as Vice Chairman of its parent company in the USA, Communications Equity Associates.
Stephan Goetz received a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Regensburg and his LLM from the Columbia University in the City of New York.
He serves on the Board of a number of companies and non-profit organizations primarily in Germany .
