As Stefan Sanktjohanser, goetzpartners’ co-founder, stated: “We advise clients on all key issues of entrepreneurial activity: strategy, M&A and transformation – this accolade from WirtschaftsWoche is a brilliant acknowledgement of the specific added value that clients obtain from our integrated advisory approach. In the course of the project we were able to provide both transformational and transactional services from within our organization in order to streamline the client’s portfolio.”

The considerable complexity of the project and the outstanding implementation skills exhibited by goetzpartners were the stand-out factors in the “Best of Consulting” expert jury’s decision to award the firm top spot. goetzpartners impressed the jury with its ability to structure the complete restructuring process, including transformation, in such a way as to enable two companies to successfully merge.

“The operational depth of the project gave us the opportunity to deliver measurable and therefore demonstrable added value for our client. Our very entrepreneurial advisory approach and the combination of analytical strengths and a hands-on mentality that we demonstrated were crucial to the success of the project. We are thrilled to have received recognition for our work on this international project,” commented Markus Schmid, Project Leader and Managing Director at goetzpartners.

This is the fifth year in the history of WirtschaftsWoche’s “Best of Consulting” annual awards for outstanding advisory firms. WirtschaftsWoche evaluates consultancies on their brand strength, value added and project success and ranks them accordingly. The third category, “Project Excellence”, is decided on the basis of an open contest. Submissions are subjected to both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the specific client projects by the jury and a scientific advisory board.
