Guenther Schermer is Partner at goetzpartners Management Consultants in the Munich office. He is co-head of the Industry Line "Energy/Utilities" and responsible for the Service Lines "Operational Excellence" and "Post Merger Integration".

Günther Schermer has in-depth consulting experience covering the Utility, Renewables and power generation industry. Within these industries he advised both international companies as well as municipal utilities in various strategy and business transformation projects.

Before joining goetzpartners Guenther Schermer worked several years for The Boston Consulting Group.

He studied physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (LMU).
