Massive oil price increases in the middle of 2008 reached a level that will no longer be accepted without saying neither by the industry nor by consumers.

Therefore, the client and his needs moves stronger into the focus of the power suppliers. But how can the suppliers pitch the unattractive products electricity and gas? Based on the financial and operational results of approximately 60 German power suppliers goetzpartners has analyzed the performance and its drivers from 2003 to 2006 and defined new imperatives and challenges for public utilities. Beyond that, courses of action for public utilities are shown that may contribute to added value for them and their customers.
