Get to know the world of Corporate Finance through several months of internsip.

Your internship

As a fully-fledged team member, you will support us in the management of Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Mandates. You will also work on sector analysis, prepare company profiles and help to produce M&A pitch books, memoranda and potential buyer and target lists. You will be guided by an experienced mentor, who will also involve you in planning corporate assessments using the DCF method. You will also receive additional types of training.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 semesters as a student
  • Excellent school results and study performance
  • Ideally, an educational background in financial science
  • Initial practical experience in the banking field, ideally investment banking
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Very good English language skills – a further foreign language is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and databases

Your entry as a student

Students can start with us goetzpartners as a trainee or write their dissertation with us.

Your internship

Over a two- to six-month training period, you will learn all about project management and the basic ways in which a business consultancy works. Your activities will include research and analysis tasks for actual client projects, for example. goetzpartners offers supplementary training options in addition to your daily on-the-job training. Our aim is to make you really excited about working for our Company and – from our point of view – keep you on in a permanent position.

  • Excellent understanding of the business management context
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good English language skills – a further foreign language is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and databases

Diploma, Masters or Bachelor thesis

You can work with goetzpartners over a period of four months to write your academic thesis. We will set the subject after conferring with you. With us, you benefit not only from having the use of our infrastructure (laptop, databases etc.), but also expert support and an attractive monthly allowance. You will have a dedicated contact person for questions on analytical, structural or content issues. You will also experience the practical side of consultancy through working on projects on a daily basis.

  • Superior analytical skills
