Why goetzpartners?

goetzpartners‘ dealflow is unique in Germany for an M&A boutique. We support small transactions, on which analysts work directly with Top Management, as well as large transactions that are technically complex and affect the public. For such projects, we are in close contact with the customer from an early stage and we are given leeway to make an impact on very exciting transactions.

My personal background

After completing my school-leaving examination, I moved to London where I spent a year getting to know and love the English language and culture. For this reason, it was an easy decision to choose a German-British course of study. After I completed my course in International Business Management in Berlin and Cambridge, which involved intermediate placements in Luxemburg and Frankfurt, I decided to join goetzpartners

My most challenging project

My most challenging project was, without a doubt, the bringing together of the activities of two major media players in Europe. The special charm of Joint Venture transactions is the combination of sell- and buy-side transaction characteristics, something that puts to the test the organizational talent, staying power and farsightedness of all the participants of the transaction.

What inspires me

The Munich surroundings.

A few additional words

Some words of wisdom from my home town: “Am Verdiena isch no koiner z'grund ganga”, which roughly translates as “Hard work never killed anyone”.
