Why goetzpartners?

After attending a recruiting day, I felt that goetzpartners was precisely what I had been searching for: projects and tasks that would challenge me, an entrepreneurial organization which I could help to grow and, above all, colleagues that do not take themselves too seriously or consider themselves to be too important. Luckily, I wasn’t disappointed!

My personal background

I became interested in business and economics from a relatively early stage. After school, I wanted to work in areas related to business and internationality, which is what spurred my decision to study Business Administration at university level. When I was offered the chance to earn my doctorate at the Technical University of Munich, I could not pass up the challenge. This was an exciting time for me, and in many ways prepared me for my current job. Nevertheless, it was not long before I came to the realization that I much preferred “experiencing” business and economics rather than simply “learning about them”.

My most challenging project

The development of a sales strategy for an energy provider – actually a classic consulting project. However, the fronts between the various companies and divisions involved were deeply entrenched, and the relationship between employees and the customer was dominated by non-transparency and mistrust . To get these people to pull in one direction and work with us to lay the foundation for their future growth was very hard work and, for me personally, a very exciting experience.

What inspires me

Traveling to distant countries, reading an exciting book, the carnival season in Cologne and going for a nice meal with friends.
