At goetzpartners, I have the opportunity to work on exciting, complex topics, particularly in the energy business which is an area in which I have a personal interest. However, the corporate culture here is just as important for me. The relaxed atmosphere among colleagues both at work and outside the office and the mutual support mechanism at goetzpartners are what motivate me to push myself to be all that I can be.

Before going on to study Physics, I decided to leave my parents‘ vineyard and go abroad. During my principal course of study, I discovered that my interest in economics was just as strong as my interest in researching theoretical particle physics. However, my studies of physics lacked an element that was very important to me: teamwork and working with other people. I got to know different consulting companies through my membership of the student consultancy and I was quickly won over to this professional field and all its possibilities. When I completed my studies, I attended a recruiting event, which was followed by a BBQ, and this is what prompted me to apply to goetzpartners.

One project I have to mention here is a project for a customer from Central Asia that wanted to expand its product portfolio in the chemical and petro-chemical industry. Thanks to this project , I very quickly learned about the complex relationships of this industry.

Another project that was just as exciting was when I had to initiate and accompany a change process in a medium-sized company. We had already been active in different divisions of the company, and this gave us the opportunity to also actively accompany the implementation of the change measures.

Being able to work as part of a team on the development and implementation of solutions together with the customer is my primary motivation at goetzpartners. However, the manner in which entrepreneurial thinking is encouraged at goetzpartners is also an aspect of working here that never ceases to inspire me.

In my private life, my main source of inspiration is my wife and my son. I also enjoy visiting other countries and getting to know their cultures, sporting challenges of all kinds, a good glass of wine and music.
