My decision to join goetzpartners was quite spontaneous and sparked by a gut feeling after attending a 2-day recruitment event. I remember being very impressed by the unpretentious, honest and direct manner in which the company representatives spoke with one another and with the applicants – and the people at goetzpartners confirm to me every day that I made the right decision. Even in the most stressful project phases, all the colleagues keep their positive attitude and, above all, their sense of humour.

After my studies (M.A. in Politics and Economics at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and MEB at the ESCP Europe), I decided to move to the field of consulting. Various internships during my studies gave me the chance to further develop my professional and personal skills and allowed me to identify with the clear focus on results and great team spirit – which I have been experiencing first hand since the end of 2007.

The reorganisation of an Asian solar payer was a particularly challenging and exciting project for me. In the run-up to this, we supported and accompanied the strategic reorientation with a stronger focus on regional markets. The adjustment of the organisational structure was followed by implementation of certain measures – and I was confronted with a wide range of challenges related to content and culture: clear organisational structures needed to be developed for a team of 30 customer employees in the US, China and Europe. Working with the customer, we succeeded in creating an effective and global organisation that will lay the foundation for further growth.

Blue skies and powder snow in the winter, blue skies and crisp mountain bike trails in the summer. Spending free time with good friends.
